STARTER KIT Newly
appointed diocesan directors expressed a wish for some sort of starter-kit that
would give them an overview of the origin and aim of the Australian Catholic Council for
Clergy Life and Ministry and an initial insight into its present
organisation and working.
The Council from its beginning in 1993 made a policy decision that
it would direct its energy towards support for diocesan initiatives and
activities in the ongoing formation and development of the life and ministry of
clergy and networking among them. Programs at the national level would be
organised only if a need for these emerged. The brief selection of documents in this Starter-kit for new
Diocesan Directors will be updated in the light or our collective ongoing
experience in this privileged ministry to our brothers in ordained ministry.
Copies of updated pages will be sent to you for inclusion in this Starter Kit. On behalf of the Diocesan Directors and the members of the Council
